chitect the role will involve liasing with both the MoD, and our subcontractors to capture the network interface definition. Interface Control Documents (ICDs) will then be produced and circulated for comments. The role will therefore involve a degree of discussion and negotiation of the scope and content of the ICD. Successful candidate will perform support technical analysis for the licensing of new terminals within the SKYNET 5 system. They will be expected to process the applications with Ofcom and maintain a register of licenses applied. This will included the registration of terminals with the ITU for protection as well as those mobile terminals making use of the commercial frequency bands. In addition the role will involve ensuring terminals for accessing Skynet are certified according to requirements and issue certificates by terminal type. Where further details on foreign militaries terminals are required this may involve detailed technical analysis of dataKnowledge of military networks and applications would be an advantage
