Process Engineer Develop and document processes and procedures to be used to fulfil, assure and bill for new telecommunications services to be delivered by Paradigm to the UK MOD. The services have a large number of specialised attributes which can be selected by the customer when each service is ordered. There are also extensive customer care services to support the delivery of communication services. The management tools which will be available to support the processes are being developed incrementally, and will initially provide modest automation. As the tools evolve, they will become more fully integrated and will provide increased automation. Understand the key features of the services offered to the customer, including committed response times. Understand the Paradigm Services company organisation and the roles and responsibilities of the teams involved in service delivery Understand the functional capabilities and limitations of the management tools, including their Man-Machine interfaces and the electronic interfaces between the tools. Identify the manual activities, and interactions with the management tools, required to provide end-to-end fulfilment, assurance and billing processes. In conjunction with engineers from other parts of the organisation, develop detailed processes and procedures, maintaining a cross-company perspective to ensure that all tasks are picked up by the relevant department, without omission or duplication. Support planning and execution of exercises and demonstrations to validate that the procedures are accurate, reflecting the operational characteristics of the management tools and the end-goals of service delivery.Qualifications and Skills: Good first degree in maths, science or engineering subject. Computer Literate Systematic, practical approach, Good team skills Good written and verbal communications skills, willing and able to pay attention to detail, Accurate and unambiguous output. Previous Experience Essential: Essential: Minimum 3 years experience in telecommunications system design or operation Desirable: Experience of process work in telecommunications service delivery environment.
