Military Network Architect Architect for the Welcome and PSIN Networks. Responsible for managing the growth of the networks ensuring configuration and release control is applied. Undertake development of the network to support service growth, and the implementation of new products and services.Role Responsibilities· Understand and document existing Network configurations· Manage the capacity and capability of the network to ensure service levels can be achieved· Implement change and release control processes on Networks · Introduce new functionality to the network to support the introduction of new services.· Work with customer services and technical refresh groups to develop evolution roadmap for the network.· Ensure Network architecture supports the classification and implementation of military security ratings.· Ensure Technical and builds quality standards are maintainedQualifications and/or Skills· Knowledge of IP, ATM and voice technologies.· Experience of Network architectures and design.· Knowledge of new service development a and change control within networks.· Excellent communication and presentation skills· Degree or equivalent experience. Previous Experience Essential: 5 years or more experience in a Telco or military communications environment.
