Service Development Architect Design and implement new services and capabilities on the Skynet 5 and PAN networks. Role DescriptionDesign and implement new services and capabilities on the Skynet 5 and PAN networks. Provide Paradigm technical lead to the JBNIB forum, supporting wider system integration while ensuring Paradigm’s business goals are achieved.Role Responsibilities · Develop the technical requirements and specifications for new service offerings on the Skynet 5 and PAN networks. · Ensure that the delivered network capability will support the required service set.· Understand other networks within the Wider GCN, and develop interoperability requirements to ensure successful integration. · Provide Paradigm technical lead within the JNIB, representing the commercial and technical aspirations of the company in achieving wider system integration. · Support meetings with key customers to understand service requirements and technical feasibility. · Produce network configuration guides and supporting documentation for the implementation of new services. · Review and approve supplier proposals for system testing and acceptance to ensure the delivered network is capable of supporting the required service set · Support operational groups in the development of process and support systems to deliver service capability Qualifications and/or Skills · Knowledge of products and service provides within the telecoms market. · Excellent knowledge of IP, ATM and voice technologies · Knowledge of new service development within networks. · Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills. · Degree qualified. Previous Experience Essential: 5-20 years experience in an operational Telco or supplier environment.
