Service Delivery Manager To manage the Service delivery of SKYNET 5 Services and to providing specialist operational planning support for SKYNET 5 Services during complex MoD scenario planning, leading to the production of SKYNET 5 Service Orders and the processing of Service Requests to generate service solutions and quotations. Essential Competencies:· Honours degree or equivalent related experience with 3 - 5 years direct experience of delivering communications services or projects in a tri-service/joint military environment · A good understanding of the United Kingdom Military Satcom Communications System (UKMSCS). · Proven ability to work on a number of interrelated issues and skilled in the process of combining Customer and Paradigm Services priorities in order to tailor solutions to Customer requirements · A good understanding of Digital communication technologies. · A good understanding of IP and circuit switched technologies. · A good understanding of military doctrine and ethos. · Previous involvement with deployed or tactical satellite communications. Desirable Competencies: · Acquaintance with the Defence Communication Services Agency (DCSA) procedures. · An approved Project Management accreditation. · General understanding of accounting procedures · Work with a mixed discipline team, with experience of team building, decision making and target setting, to enable the development of strong and effective internal and external relationships. · Skilled in the process of combining customer and company priorities, in order to oversee the tailoring of solutions to customer requirements in order that the respect and confidence of all levels of the Customer base is maintained at all times. · Experienced in the provision of communications network services, and knowledgeable of the effects of multiple communications networks’ interactions. · Proficient in controlling and delivering profitable service business. · Proactive, visionary with the proven ability to adapt to changing Customer needs and to harness change to the benefit of the Paradigm Services business.
