The WELCOME contract, awarded to Astrium by the Defence Communication Services Agency in October 1999, supports users in regions such as the Balkans, the Gulf and West Africa and onboard ships around the world.

Through its HomeLink Service, Paradigm provides military personnel on operational duty overseas with welfare telephone calls home. The service offers a combination of 20 minutes free call time each week, financed by the UK MOD, which may be carried over for future use prior to leaving theatre, with the facility to purchase pre-paid phone cards for longer talk time.
