    Defence Research 2010 is a combined conference (supplier briefing) and exhibition. It is the main event in the MOD's supplier engagement programme and the MOD is particularly keen to develop its supplier networks to include new suppliers which are innovative, smaller-scale or academic and from outside the traditional defence market.

    Defence research is primarily delivered by industry and academia, contracted through the SIT Defence Technology and Innovation Centre (DTIC) and Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S). This conference and exhibition presents plans for delivering defence research in the next few years and is the only event where the programme will be discussed in its entirety.
